Blox Fruits Chromatic Gacha Box: What Is Inside and What the Odds Are
What was inside the Blox Fruits Chromatic Gacha Box, its published Update 30 drop rates, how the Magnet Gacha worked, and where the skins went.
The Chromatic Box was the premium reward from the Update 30 Magnet Gacha, and its exact drop table was published: Lime Blade 33%, Topaz Diamond 25%, Scarlet Ghost 22%, Yellow Lightning 13%, Starlight Gravity 5%, Runic Fiend 1% and Arcsteel Magnet 1%. The box has since left the Blox Fruits shop, so it can no longer be bought.
Updated 3 October 2026.
The published drop table
Blox Fruits does not usually publish loot odds. For the Update 30 Chromatic Box it did, and the numbers are still on the wiki's Updates/30 page:
| Skin | Base fruit | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Lime Blade | Blade | 33% |
| Topaz Diamond (returned) | Diamond | 25% |
| Scarlet Ghost | Ghost | 22% |
| Yellow Lightning (returned) | Lightning | 13% |
| Starlight Gravity | Gravity | 5% |
| Runic Fiend | the Fiend mutation of Yeti | 1% |
| Arcsteel Magnet | Magnet | 1% |
Those seven sum to 100%. Two of them are the chase: Runic Fiend and Arcsteel Magnet, one in a hundred each. The other 98% is four ordinary chromatic skins, two of which are returning from earlier events.
Read the two 1% entries carefully, because they are different kinds of thing. Arcsteel Magnet is a skin for the update's new fruit. Runic Fiend is a skin for a mutation — the wiki compares it explicitly to Galaxy Empyrean, which rolled at 0.8% from the Winter 2025 Fruit Box. Mutation skins are the rarest cosmetic class in the game.
How the box was obtained
The Chromatic Box was the "Premium Box" reward from an event gacha, and in Update 30 that was the Magnet Gacha. The notes below describe how it worked while the event ran.
- Cost: 500 Magnet Tokens per roll.
- Cooldown: 2 hours, shared with the ordinary Random Fruit gacha — so a Magnet roll spends your fruit roll too.
- Location: with the Blox Fruit Gacha, which Update 30 moved to Middle Town in Sea 1, plus the Café and the Third Sea Mansion.
Magnet Tokens come from Magnetized enemies, an hourly event spawn across every island in your current sea. Each gives around 25 tokens, so 500 tokens is roughly twenty magnetized kills — and their damage scales to you, so they are not free.
The gacha's wider prize pool is not only boxes: it also gives a random Blox Fruit excluding Common rarity, the limited Coral Crown and Shark Cape accessories, and the Beach and Vibes profile backgrounds. One useful mechanic: rolling any limited-time item grants an extra roll, used immediately.
What "chromatic" means here
Chromatic skins are recolours applied to an existing fruit's model and effects. They do not change damage, mastery or moveset. The wiki treats them the way it treats every other skin — a visual layer — with the single exception of mutation skins like Runic Fiend and Galaxy Empyrean, which sit on top of a mutation that does change abilities.
So a Chromatic Box was a cosmetic lottery, and a roll never guaranteed the skin you wanted.
Can you still get a Chromatic Box?
No. The box was tied to the Magnet event, and it is gone from the Blox Fruits shop now that the event has ended. We sold it in x10, x20 and x50 quantities while it was in game; those listings are retired.
What is still possible is owning one of the skins without rolling for it:
- Arcsteel Magnet and Runic Fiend, the two 1% entries, are listed on their own when we hold one. A named skin is the certain route; the box was always a chance at one.
- The fruit underneath is unaffected by the box leaving. Permanent Magnet and permanent Yeti are still sold for Robux in game, and a skin needs its base fruit.
If the box comes back with a future event, the odds above are the last published ones, and the arithmetic still holds: ten rolls at 1% is about a 9.6% chance of a given chase skin, fifty rolls about 39%.
What a chromatic skin is not
Three things people expect a chromatic skin to do, and it does none of them:
- It does not change damage or moves. Chromatic skins are recolours of an existing fruit's model and effects, exactly like every other skin in the game.
- It does not carry mastery. Skins sit on the fruit you already have; they do not create a separate mastery track the way a mutation does.
- It does not make a fruit tradeable. Only stored permanents and gamepasses can enter the trade window, and a skin does not change that.
The one exception, and the reason two entries in the table above matter more than the rest, is a skin applied to a mutation. Runic Fiend sits on the Fiend mutation of Yeti, and mutations do modify abilities and do reset mastery. The skin is still cosmetic; the thing underneath it is not.
