Blox Fruits Update 30: Sea 1 Rework, the Magnet Fruit and the Magnet Gacha
Blox Fruits Update 30, 5 September 2026: the Magnet fruit, the Magnet Gacha, a rebuilt First Sea, a 3,000 cap.
Updated 3 October 2026.
Blox Fruits Update 30 — "Sea 1 Rework" — released on 5 September 2026 with a new Mythical fruit called Magnet, a Magnet Event with its own gacha, all sixteen First Sea islands rebuilt, 40 new secrets and a level cap raised to 3,000. The Magnet Gacha's Chromatic Box was one of the few loot tables in the game with published percentages.
The headline: Magnet
Magnet is the new Blox Fruit, and the wiki's permanent-fruit price table already carries it: Mythical, 3,500 Robux — third-highest permanent in the game, above Tiger and Yeti at 3,000 and below Kitsune and Control at 4,000.
One thing worth knowing before you go hunting it: in 144 continuous days of our own dealer-stock polling — 197,875 records between 16 April and 8 September 2026 — Magnet has never appeared in either the Blox Fruit Dealer or the Advanced Fruit Dealer rotation. Neither has Dragon. Whatever route Magnet takes into an inventory, the ordinary stock rotation has not been it so far.
The Magnet Event
The event runs on Magnet Tokens, earned the same way Summer Tokens worked in Update 27: an hourly event spawns "Magnetized" enemies across every island in whichever sea you are in. Per the wiki they give around 25 tokens each, they use the Magnet fruit themselves, they are surrounded by flying scrap parts, and your damage scales against them so they are not free kills.
The Magnet Gacha costs 500 Magnet Tokens per roll — twenty magnetized enemies — with a 2-hour cooldown shared with the ordinary Random Fruit gacha. It sits with the Blox Fruit Gacha in Middle Town, the Café and the Third Sea Mansion.
The Chromatic Box odds — actually published
This is rare enough to state plainly: Blox Fruits published the drop rates for the Update 30 Chromatic Box. The box is no longer sold now that the Magnet event is over, but the table is still on the Updates/30 page:
| Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| Lime Blade | 33% |
| Topaz Diamond (returned) | 25% |
| Scarlet Ghost | 22% |
| Yellow Lightning (returned) | 13% |
| Starlight Gravity | 5% |
| Runic Fiend | 1% |
| Arcsteel Magnet | 1% |
Two of those are worth a second look. Runic Fiend at 1% is a skin of a mutation — the wiki compares it directly to Galaxy Empyrean — so it is a cosmetic layer on top of the Fiend mutation of Yeti. Arcsteel Magnet at 1% is the skin for the update's own new fruit. Together they are 2% of the box; the other 98% is the four returning or common chromatic skins.
The gacha also pays out non-box rewards: a Beach Banner and a Vibes Frame Break profile background.
What changed in the First Sea
The rework is the larger half of the update, even if Magnet got the headline:
- All 16 First Sea islands reimagined, and every Sea 1 boss refreshed.
- Bosses have a secret awakened mode. Approaching one now turns the camera towards it, showing the exact location and glowing red eyes; bosses get a theme, an icon and an attack indicator.
- Secrets. 40 new ones across the islands — small puzzles, randomly spawning quests and awakened boss fights.
- Secret levels. Completing secrets grants levels beyond the grinding cap of 2,800. Clearing all current secret levels takes you to a new cap of 3,000.
- A World Map on the HUD, unlocked after your first secret, with island navigation and secret-completion tracking.
- A Secrets Master NPC in Sea 1, "who is also keeping a special secret".
- The Blox Fruits Gacha moved to Middle Town from the Jungle, with a note left behind.
- Bosses Swan and Magma Admiral have been replaced.
Smaller changes that matter
- Dragon is rollable again in the Blox Fruits Gacha. For a fruit our stock feed has never seen in dealer rotation, that is the notable line in the whole patch.
- Spirit's X-move burn damage was removed, which the wiki attributes to a bug.
- Fishing Rod mastery cap increased.
- Weapon Dealers now let you examine a weapon before buying; Boat Dealers preview unlocked ships; boss drops are previewed as you approach.
- Reworked HUD, stats menu and Player Profile, with new tabs, friend indicators and search.
- New loading screen and team selection — the wiki notes it is the original "Loading Data..." screen, and that it now genuinely loads your data.
- Quest Givers gained "rumors" alongside quests.
- Accessory updates to Black Cape, Cool Shades, Tomoe Ring, Marine Cap and Coat.
- The Adventurer NPC is now bald, unless you do the stolen hat quest.
What this changes about buying
Three practical consequences:
Magnet is a 3,500 Robux permanent that the dealer has not stocked. If you want it and you do not want to farm the event, the permanent is the route the game itself provides — and permanents can be bought from the Dealer whether or not the fruit is in stock.
The Chromatic Box was a 1% chase for the skins that matter, and it is gone. At published odds, Arcsteel Magnet and Runic Fiend were each one in a hundred. The box has left the shop and our x10, x20 and x50 listings are retired; the two skins are listed individually when we hold one.
The level cap moved to 3,000, but only through secrets. Grinding still stops at 2,800. Nothing you can buy raises it — this one is play time.
