Roblox Rivals Skin Cases: What Is Inside, What They Cost, and Why Nobody Can Tell You the Odds
What is in Skin Case 1, 2 and 3 in Roblox RIVALS, what each costs in Robux, and why the drop odds are not published.
Every Skin Case in Roblox RIVALS costs 249 Robux or 10 Skin Tickets and contains 44 skins, split across Common, Rare and Legendary. Nosniy Games does not publish per-rarity drop chances, so the only honest way to compare cases is by what is actually in them — which is what this page does.
Updated 8 September 2026.
This is Roblox RIVALS by Nosniy Games, not Marvel Rivals.
The three permanent cases
Read from each case's own Fandom article on 8 September 2026:
| Case | Robux | Skin Ticket price | Skins inside |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skin Case | 249 | 10 | 44 |
| Skin Case 2 | 249 | 10 | 44 |
| Skin Case 3 | 249 | 10 | 44 |
Identical price, identical count. The difference is entirely in the contents.
Rarity composition — the number that actually exists
RIVALS does not publish drop rates. What it does publish, through the wiki's per-case tables, is the rarity of every single skin in every case. That is a real, checkable distribution, and it is the closest honest proxy to "which case has the best odds" that anyone can give you.
Counting the rarity tags on each case's wiki table (8 September 2026):
| Case | Legendary | Rare | Common | Legendary share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Skin Case | 19 | 15 | 9 | 44% of 43 tagged entries |
| Skin Case 2 | 16 | 16 | 12 | 36% |
| Skin Case 3 | 17 | 18 | 9 | 39% |
| Spooky Skin Case | 14 | 17 | 13 | 32% |
| Summer Skin Case | 12 | 16 | 20 | 25% of 48 |
| Festive Skin Case | 9 | 20 | 17 | 20% of 46 |
(43 of Skin Case 1's 44 listed entries carry a parseable rarity tag; the other five cases tag every entry.)
What this table is and is not. It tells you the proportion of the pool that is Legendary. It does not tell you the probability of pulling a Legendary, because the game may weight rarities rather than draw uniformly — and it almost certainly does. Treat a higher Legendary share as "more Legendaries to want", not as "better odds".
Why we will not print drop percentages
You will find sites quoting exact per-rarity odds for RIVALS cases. We checked: the developer has never published them. They are not on the wiki, not in the game's UI, and not in any patch note. Any number you see is a guess presented as a fact.
The expected-value reasoning that is honest looks like this. A case is 249 Robux. There are 44 skins in it and you already own some of them. Every additional case you open has a rising chance of being a duplicate of something you have, and the specific Legendary you are chasing is one of roughly sixteen to nineteen Legendaries in that pool. If you want one named skin, opening cases is a lottery with an unpublished ticket price; buying that skin's bundle, where one exists, is a purchase. That is the whole comparison, and it does not need a fake percentage to be useful.
Which case has the knife you want
The most-searched question about RIVALS cases is which one holds a specific melee skin. From the wiki's Knife page and the per-case tables:
- Karambit — Legendary, Skin Case 2
- Balisong — Legendary, Skin Case 3
- Chancla — Common, Skin Case 1
- Machete — Common, Spooky Skin Case
- Shark Tooth — Common, Summer Skin Case
- Candy Cane — Legendary, Festive Skin Case
- Pencil — Legendary, not in any case — it comes from the Prop Bundle
- Keyrambit and Keylisong — Mythical, and the wiki marks both as "used to be included in the Legendary Key Bundle". Key-bundle skins rotate; see the keys guide.
The wiki's Knife article also records that the Knife itself costs 20 Keys, deals 40 damage on a normal hit, and instantly eliminates on a successful backstab. Knife skins change none of that — they change sounds, animations and effects.
Skin Tickets: the free route
Every case and every shop skin costs 10 Skin Tickets, regardless of rarity (wiki, Skin Tickets). That flat price is the interesting part: a Mythical costs the same ticket count as a Common.
Where tickets come from, per the wiki:
- The standard Season Pass grants 10 tickets — one free skin or one free case per season.
- Prime adds another 10, plus whatever comes out of Prime Goodie Bags.
- Buying a UGC item in the UGC Shop gives 1 ticket as a first reward.
One trap the wiki calls out explicitly: if you refresh the Daily Shop using Keys, the Skin Ticket option is disabled for those items. It says this is intentional, not a bug. Refresh first, and you have spent your ticket route on that rotation.
The seasonal cases
Seasonal cases are the same 249 Robux / 10 Skin Ticket item with a themed pool, and they only exist while their event is running:
- Spooky Skin Case — 44 skins, Spooky Event only. The 2024 Spooky Event ran 22 October – 27 November 2024; the 2025 event ran 24 October – 12 December 2025 (wiki, Events).
- Summer Skin Case — 48 skins, Summer Event only. The 2026 Summer Event has ended and its Pearl currency was converted to Tropical Chests in Update 22.
- Festive Skin Case — 46 skins, Festive Event only, and also appeared on day 9 of the Advent Calendar.
The seasonal economy repeats itself almost exactly. Candy — the Halloween currency — runs the identical Robux ladder to Pearls: 49 / 199 / 449 / 2,199 / 4,999 Robux for 50 / 200 / 450 / 2,250 / 5,500 Candy (wiki, Candy, retrieved 8 September 2026). The Haunted Chest costs 30 Candy and contains wraps, charms and finishers rather than weapon skins.
What Update 22 changed
Update 22 shipped 4 September 2026 and added 13 new skins across the three permanent cases — including Plasma Wildcat, Starforge Permafrost, Starforge Maul, Thunderpike and Arcade Claw to Skin Case 1; Fishing Rod, Clown Hammer, Fork and Temporal Permafrost to Skin Case 2; and Genie Lamp, Excalibur, Plunger and Permafrost.rbxm to Skin Case 3. Every one of those lands in a case that is already on sale, so the pools above grew rather than being replaced.
