Roblox Rivals Kill Effects — Called Finishers In Game
Kill effects in Roblox RIVALS are called Finishers. All 111 of them, where they come from, and what a pack costs.
What players call kill effects, Roblox RIVALS calls Finishers: cosmetics that play a visual effect after you eliminate an enemy, added in Update 5. There are 111 of them across Common, Rare, Legendary and Unique tiers, and the cheapest route is a Finisher Pack from the Shop at 10 Keys.

The vocabulary gap
If you search for "kill effects in Rivals" and find nothing on the wiki, that is because the game does not use the phrase. The wiki page is Finishers, and it defines them as "cosmetics which play a visual effect after killing an enemy. They were introduced in Update 5."
Both words describe the same thing. Every reference below uses the in-game term.
How many there are
Counted from the wiki's own per-rarity sections, 8 September 2026:
| Rarity | Count |
|---|---|
| Common | 28 |
| Rare | 29 |
| Legendary | 50 |
| Unique | 4 |
| Total | 111 |
The distribution is unusual: Legendary is the largest tier, not the smallest. Nearly half of all Finishers in the game are Legendary, which tells you the rarity label describes the drop pool rather than scarcity of ownership.
Where Finishers come from
The wiki's summary is that "Most finishers can be obtained from Finisher Packs, event Chests, Bundles, and the Season Pass." In practice that is four distinct routes with very different costs.
1. Finisher Packs — 10 Keys
The cheapest route, and the only repeatable one. A Finisher Pack costs 10 Keys and draws from a fixed pool of 18:
- Legendary: Orbital Strike, Darkheart, BONK!, Tough-Crowd, Balloons, Electrocute
- Rare: Collapse, Splatter, High Gravity, Freeze, Tremble, Rush
- Common: Confetti, Petrify, Hacked, Flop, Toot, Yoink
Six of each tier, which is as close to published odds as this game gets. There is also a Finisher Pack 2 in the Shop. Keys come free from Contracts and Tasks, so this is the route that costs nothing but time.
2. Bundles — fixed, guaranteed
Every normal and skin bundle includes exactly one Finisher, and you know which one before you buy. From the wiki's Bundles page:
| Bundle | Finisher |
|---|---|
| Starter Bundle | Stiff |
| RPG Bundle | Erased |
| Medkit Bundle | Heartbeat |
| Exogun Bundle | Low Gravity |
| Standard Weapons Bundle | Boogie |
| Classic Bundle | OOF |
| Energy Bundle | Beacon |
| Heavy Duty Bundle | Ignite |
| Pixel Bundle | Pixel Coins |
| Balloon Bundle | Inflate |
| Prop Bundle | Goofy Brawl |
| Pirate Bundle | Spectralized |
| Nostalgia Bundle | Dematerialize |
If you want one specific Finisher and it is in a bundle, buy the bundle. That is the only deterministic route in the game.
3. Event chests — seasonal, and gone when the event is
The Haunted Chest costs 30 Candy during the Spooky Event and contains nine Finishers: Bite, Batsplosion and Spooky Confetti (Common); Lost Soul, Bonesplosion and Reaper (Rare); Zombified, Broom Ride and Disintegrate (Legendary). It also holds wraps and charms.
Event chests are the main reason the Legendary tier is so large — every seasonal chest adds several, and then the event closes.
4. The Season Pass
Both the free and Prime tracks award Finishers. Season 1's free track included Blip; the Prime track included Instability, Bogey, Faceplant and Warp Sickness. Season 2 Prime added Chill Out, Decorated Player, Coalify and Firework Show; Season 3 Prime added Impact Frame, Curtain Call, Standing Ovation, Whack A Mole and more.
The Ultra Key Bundle also carries a Legendary Finisher called Opulent.
What Finishers do not do
Nothing mechanical. A Finisher plays after the elimination has already resolved. It does not change damage, speed, hitboxes or time-to-kill, and it does not stack with anything. It is the most purely cosmetic item class in RIVALS.
How to actually get the one you want
- Check whether it is in a bundle first. Thirteen Finishers have a guaranteed bundle source. That beats any number of packs.
- If it is pack-only, farm Keys and open Finisher Packs. At 10 Keys each with an 18-item pool, this is cheap and the pool is small enough to complete.
- If it is from an event chest, you need the event. The 2024 Spooky Event ran 22 October to 27 November 2024 and the 2025 event ran 24 October to 12 December 2025 — so the Halloween Finishers come back roughly once a year, not never.
- If it is a Season Pass reward from a past season, it is gone. There is no catch-up mechanic.
