Roblox Rivals Keys: How to Get Them, and What They Are Actually For
Every way to earn Keys in Roblox RIVALS, what Keys actually buy, and the full Robux key-bundle ladder from the wiki.
Keys are the primary currency in Roblox RIVALS, earned from Contracts, Tasks, codes, daily login rewards and the Prize Wheel, and bought in five Robux tiers from 49 for 10 Keys to 4,999 for 1,100. They buy weapons, Wrap Boxes, Charm Capsules, Finisher Packs and Daily Shop refreshes — a standard Knife costs 20, a Finisher Pack costs 10.

What Keys buy
From the wiki's Keys page, read 8 September 2026, Keys are used to:
- Purchase Wrap Boxes, Charm Capsules, Finisher Packs and Wraps from the Shop
- Purchase Emotes, Charms, Wraps and Finishers from the Daily Shop
- Purchase and upgrade Weapons
- Recover Win Streaks
- Refresh the Daily Shop
Two concrete prices worth anchoring on: the standard Knife costs 20 Keys, and a Finisher Pack costs 10 Keys — the pack containing six Legendary, six Rare and six Common finishers, including Orbital Strike, Darkheart and BONK!.
Every free route to Keys
The wiki lists six, and they are not equally productive:
- Contracts — both Weapon Contracts and Map Contracts. This is the bulk of it.
- Tasks
- Codes — note that the Shop requires you to verify a username before you can redeem
- Currency Bundles — the paid route, below
- Daily login rewards
- The Prize Wheel
The most reliable free route is Contracts, and the Knife's own contract table shows the shape: playtime milestones pay 1 Key at 5 minutes and 1 Key at 20 minutes, then switch to cosmetics — a Charm Capsule at 20 minutes and 6 hours, a Wrap at 1 hour and 24 hours, Wrap Boxes at 12 and 48 hours, and a Chibi Knife charm at 72 hours. Every standard weapon has its own contract line, so running contracts across several weapons is how a Key balance actually grows.
Bundles pay Keys too, as a side effect rather than the point: the RPG Bundle includes 5 Keys, Medkit and Exogun 20 each, the Standard Weapons Bundle 15, and the Classic and Heavy Duty bundles 40 each — plus, in the Standard Weapons Bundle's case, a Key refund for every standard weapon you had already bought.

The wiki adds its own caveat: "Prices for currency bundles may vary depending on regional pricing and Roblox Plus discounts."
The two top tiers are really skin purchases. The Mythical Key Skin in the Ultra and Legendary bundles rotates roughly every other update, and the wiki maintains a Key Skin History page because of it. As of Update 22 the Legendary Key Bundle carries the Enerkey Pistols and the Ultra carries the Enerkey Rifle. Earlier rotations put Keyrambit and Keylisong in the Legendary bundle — both Mythical Knife skins, and the Knife page now lists both as skins that "used to be included in the Legendary Key Bundle".
If a guide tells you the Legendary Key Bundle contains a Keyrambit, that guide is out of date. This is the single fastest-moving fact in the game and the reason this page carries a date.
Keys are not the only currency
RIVALS has four currencies and three of them are event-exclusive: Keys (permanent), Candy (Halloween), Crystals and Pearls. Every seasonal ladder reuses the Key ladder's exact Robux prices — 49 / 199 / 449 / 2,199 / 4,999 — so the Candy Bundle at 49 Robux is the Key Bundle's price with a different currency in it.
Skin Tickets are a fifth thing entirely and do not interact with Keys except negatively: refreshing the Daily Shop with Keys disables the Skin Ticket option for that rotation until the next natural reset.
How to spend Keys well
- Weapons before cosmetics. Standard weapons are Key-priced and permanently useful; a Knife at 20 Keys is the cheapest real upgrade in the game.
- Do not refresh the Daily Shop casually. The cost starts at 3 Keys and doubles each time, up to 24. Three refreshes is 21 Keys — a whole Knife.
- Finisher Packs at 10 Keys are the cheapest cosmetic lootbox, drawing from a pool of 111 finishers across Common, Rare, Legendary and Unique tiers.
- If you are buying the Standard Weapons Bundle anyway, buy it early — it refunds Keys for standard weapons already purchased, so buying weapons first and the bundle later is not the loss it looks like.
