The Best Perm Fruit to Buy in Blox Fruits, by Budget
Which permanent Blox Fruit to buy at each budget, using the wiki's Robux ladder and 144 days of our dealer data.
There is no single best permanent fruit, but there is a defensible way to choose one: buy permanence for the fruits the Dealer almost never stocks, and buy physical copies of the ones it stocks constantly. Our 144-day stock log shows Blade at 36% of restocks and Control at 0.1%, which is the difference between a fruit you can wait for and one you cannot.

The rule this page is built on
Every "best fruit" list you will find ranks fruits by how strong they feel. That is a real question, and it is also the most argued-about question in the game, so a shop's opinion on it is worth very little.
Here is a question a shop can actually answer with evidence: which fruits is it rational to pay Robux for permanence on? The answer depends on two measurable things — what the fruit costs in Robux, and how often the game gives it to you for free.
We poll the Blox Fruit Dealer and the Advanced Fruit Dealer continuously. Between 16 April and 8 September 2026 our log recorded 197,875 polls, 865 normal restocks and 1,670 Mirage restocks. That gives a per-fruit appearance rate, and it is the missing column on every other buying guide.
The scarcity table
Share of the 865 recorded normal-dealer restocks, against the wiki's Robux price:
| Fruit | Rarity | Robux | Dealer rate | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blade | Common | 100 | 36.1% | Wait — it stocks constantly |
| Flame | Uncommon | 550 | 30.4% | Wait |
| Smoke | Common | 250 | 27.5% | Wait |
| Light | Rare | 1,100 | 19.2% | Wait |
| Dark | Uncommon | 950 | 14.0% | Wait |
| Magma | Rare | 1,300 | 9.1% | Borderline |
| Buddha | Legendary | 1,650 | 5.9% | Borderline |
| Quake | Legendary | 1,500 | 5.3% | Borderline |
| Spider | Legendary | 1,800 | 4.4% | Buy |
| Portal | Legendary | 2,000 | 2.7% | Buy |
| Dough | Mythical | 2,400 | 1.6% | Buy |
| Shadow | Mythical | 2,425 | 1.4% | Buy |
| Venom | Mythical | 2,450 | 1.2% | Buy |
| Spirit | Mythical | 2,550 | 0.7% | Buy |
| Kitsune | Mythical | 4,000 | 0.6% | Buy |
| Yeti | Mythical | 3,000 | 0.6% | Buy |
| Tiger | Mythical | 3,000 | 0.1% | Buy |
| Control | Mythical | 4,000 | 0.1% | Buy |
| Magnet | Mythical | 3,500 | 0% | Buy — never observed |
| Dragon | Mythical | 5,000 | 0% | Buy — never observed |
"Wait" means the Dealer will hand it to you within days at Money prices. "Buy" means the free route is a lottery you will probably lose.
By budget
Under $2 — Spring, Bomb, Spike
These are Common permanents at Common prices: Permanent Spring at $1.26 against 180 Robux, Permanent Bomb at $1.54 against 220, Permanent Spike at $2.66 against 380.
Be honest with yourself about what this buys. It is the feature — the ability to switch back — on a fruit you would not otherwise keep. Useful as a permanent slot to swap out of, not as an endgame pick.
$5 to $12 — the Rare and Legendary shelf
Permanent Ice ($5.25 / 750 R$), Permanent Sand ($5.95 / 850), Permanent Dark ($6.65 / 950), Permanent Light ($7.70 / 1,100), Permanent Magma ($9.10 / 1,300), Permanent Quake ($10.50 / 1,500), Permanent Buddha ($11.55 / 1,650).
Buddha is the one to notice. It is the anchor of our own permanent-fruit value model — the fruit every other value is expressed relative to — and it stocks in only 5.9% of restocks despite being a Legendary at a middle price. It is the classic grinding pick and the classic first serious permanent.
$12 to $18 — the scarcity band
Permanent Spider ($12.60 / 1,800), Permanent Portal ($14.00 / 2,000), Permanent Blizzard ($15.75 / 2,250), Permanent Gravity ($16.10 / 2,300), Permanent Dough ($16.80 / 2,400), Permanent Shadow ($16.98 / 2,425), Permanent Venom ($17.15 / 2,450), Permanent Spirit ($17.85 / 2,550).
This band is where the scarcity argument gets strongest. Every fruit here appeared in under 5% of restocks. Portal in particular is worth flagging: it and Phoenix share the same 2,000 Robux price, so if you are choosing between them, price is not the tiebreaker.
$21 and up — the top six
Permanent Tiger ($21.00 / 3,000), Permanent Yeti ($21.00 / 3,000), Permanent Magnet ($24.50 / 3,500), Permanent Kitsune ($28.00 / 4,000), Permanent Control ($28.00 / 4,000), Permanent Dragon ($35.00 / 5,000).
All six are effectively unobtainable through stock. Together they appeared in 12 of 865 restocks, and two of them in none. This is the band where the permanent is not a convenience purchase.
Three of them also gate something else: Tiger, Kitsune and Yeti are the base fruits for the game's three mutations — Werewolf, Empyrean and Fiend. The wiki's rule is that you can buy a mutation standalone (1,500, 2,000 and 1,500 Robux respectively) only if you already own the permanent base fruit. If a mutation is your goal, the permanent is a prerequisite, not an alternative.
Price ties worth knowing
The wiki's own trivia records four deliberate ties: T-Rex and Mammoth at 2,350, Tiger and Yeti at 3,000, Phoenix and Portal at 2,000, Kitsune and Control at 4,000. In each pair the game is telling you it considers them equivalent purchases. Pick on playstyle.
What we are not going to tell you
We are not publishing a tier list. We do not run the competitive meta, the meta moves with every update — Update 30 landed three days before this page — and a shop ranking fruits by strength is a shop ranking its own stock. What we do have is the scarcity data above, the wiki's price ladder, and the shelf itself — every permanent we list, with its price, is on Blox Fruits permanent fruits. Our own value model's method goes up once the fruit-value solve has been re-run against Update 30.
