What Kitsune is
The Kitsune is the only Secret-rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2, added on 7 August 2026 and available solely through the Exclusive Fall Chest or the Exclusive Harvest Egg. It works while you are not: every five to ten seconds it looks for an empty garden and, on an 85% chance per check, sends itself off to steal fruit from it. A successful steal takes three seconds to bring the fruit back, and there is then a 20% chance the fruit arrives carrying the Chakra mutation. Failure costs it only three seconds before it tries again; success puts it on a ten-second cooldown. One unusual detail worth knowing before you spend up: Big, Mega and Rainbow variants do not buff this ability at all. Hand-delivered — a PetMart agent arranges the trade with you on Discord and completes it in game.
